Dr Matthew Caley

Dr Matthew Caley (ECR), Lecturer in Cell Biology (2019), Queen Mary University London. Matthew’s research is focused on skin ageing and rare genetic skin diseases with a focus on the skin basement membrane. His research encompasses skin integrity, skin ageing, skin barrier formation, cholesterol transport, cancer progression and immune response. He uses 3D skin models alongside high throughput imaging and phenotypic analysis to identify and target disease causing changes in skin.
