Dr Jelena Garilovic

Dr Jelena Gavrilovic, Associate Professor in Cell Biology, School of Biological Sciences, University of East Anglia (UEA).Jelena’s research interests are developing models of human inflammatory conditions (ex-vivo /in vitro), including infection and wound healing. With clinical colleagues at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital she established the Norwich Skin Platform, and she is a member of the Norwich Institute of Healthy Ageing through which new collaborations are in development. She also has close links with the Quadram Institute exploring microbiome antiseptic resistance mechanisms and skin host responses using new genetic approaches.
