SMiHA provide funds for research projects into skin ageing and the microbiome
On Tuesday 25th October 2022 SMiHA were proud to launch their 2022 Pump Priming research fund.
The fund aims to help support research within the field of the microbiome and skin ageing with the following research focus question:Â

How can we better understand the role of the skin microbiome in ageing and its effect on health and how can we improve age associated symptoms via the skin microbiome?Â
The SMiHA pump priming provides funds for a series of pilot studies to be conducted within the research theme and allow researcher exchanges between institutions over the coming year. Succesful project proposals will recieve between £1000-£5000 per project.  Application details can be found here.
